Peter Gartmayer (born February 25, 1978 in Filderstadt , Germany ) is an Austrian beach volleyball player.

Career

Gartmayer played with Robert Nowotny from 1999 to 2005 . The duo took part in the 2004 Olympic Games and in the same year achieved four top 10 results in FIVB tournaments. Gartmayer's new partner was Clemens Doppler . The team trained by Marco Solustri became European champions in 2007 , finished ninth at the World Cup in Gstaad and achieved various top 10 placements at FIVB tournaments. In 2008 Doppler / Gartmayer qualified for the Olympic Games in Beijing and reached the round of 16 there.

In the 2010/11 season he began his career as assistant coach of SVS Schwechat Vienna (Austrian National League women).
