Peter Georg Palis (PGP) was a linen shop and linen factory in Otto-von-Guericke-Straße 98 (formerly Kaiserstraße) in Magdeburg . At times, 200 workers and employees were working for the leading company in the industry in Magdeburg. The business continued after the Second World War in Frankfurt am Main at Zeil 82 .

Peter Georg Palis was founded in 1760, making it Germany's oldest textile shop. In 1902 Curt Ramdohr, who was also President of the Magdeburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1931 to 1933, took over the management of the company, and in 1934 his son Günther Ramdohr joined the management team at his request. The commercial building in Magdeburg was destroyed in the air raid on January 16, 1945 as a result of World War II, Curt Ramdohr died a few weeks later. Günther Ramdohr finally continued the business from 1948 in Frankfurt am Main until he finally dissolved the company in 1972.
