Peter Hasenberg
Peter Hasenberg (born September 19, 1953 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German film expert.
Hasenberg studied English and German at the University of Bochum and received his doctorate in 1981 with a thesis on plot structures in Shakespeare's tragedies. From 1978 to 1987 he was a research assistant at the English seminar at the University of Bochum. Since 1988 he has been a consultant for film and media policy issues at the German Bishops' Conference in Bonn. Since 1989 he has been chairman of the Catholic Film Commission for Germany. His film reviews appear frequently in the Catholic Film Service .
