Peter McKenzie (actor)

Peter McKenzie (* before 1976 in Wellington ) is a New Zealand actor . He is the father of actor Bret McKenzie .

Career

He was first seen in 1987 in three episodes of the television series Grange Hill . 1996 followed an appearance in an episode of the TV series Crossroads Café . In 1998 he had a recurring role in the TV series Tell - In the fight against Lord Xax . As Edwin of Stringburn , he starred in an episode of the Dark Knight series in 2000 . He achieved international fame through his portrayal of Elendil in The Lord of the Rings: The Companions . His son Bret also had a role in the film. He was last seen in King Kong in 2005 .

Trivia

  • McKenzie is a fan of equestrian sports. He is the owner and trainer of the racehorse "Sculptor". It won the Saab Quality in Flemington in 2007 and qualified for the Melbourne Cup that same year.
