Peter Schneidewind

Peter Schneidewind (born December 27, 1967 in Hanover ) is a German manager and CEO of the mechanical engineering company RENA Technologies GmbH .

Career

After various positions in industry, Schneidewind switched to strategy consulting at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich in April 1998 , where he most recently headed the semiconductor and renewable energies divisions as principal.

On September 1, 2007, he moved to ErSol AG, which he led as Director ErSol Modules until June 2012. In March 2008 he was appointed alongside Dr. Claus Beneking , Ekhard von Dewitz and Jürgen Pressl, appointed as fourth member of the board of ErSol AG in Arnstadt. In his position, Schneidewind was responsible for sales and the Thin Film and Modules divisions.

With the takeover of ErSol AG by Bosch on August 12, 2008, Peter Schneidewind moved to the Bosch Group. After a successful squeeze-out, ersol energy AG was renamed Bosch Solar Energy AG on September 1, 2007 . As a member of the divisional board of Bosch Solar Energy AG, Peter Schneidewind was responsible for sales, product management and marketing.

At the beginning of July 2012, Schneidewind took over the management of the Power Tools Accessories division at Bosch Power Tools in Solothurn, Switzerland with over 4000 employees worldwide.

At the beginning of 2015, Schneidewind returned to Roland Berger as Senior Partner in the Competence Center Engineered Products & High Tech in Zurich. In his role, he mainly supported high-tech companies with growth strategies and sales topics.

In October 2017, Schneidewind took over the management of RENA Technologies GmbH in Gütenbach, one of the world's leading mechanical engineering companies for the semiconductor, medical technology, glass and renewable energies industries, as CEO .
