Peter Snape
Peter Charles Snape, Baron Snape (born February 12, 1942 in Stockport ) is a British Labor Party politician .
Snape entered the House of Commons of the British Parliament in 1974 as representative of the West Bromwich East constituency . He was, among other things, the spokesman for the opposition on defense (1979-1982), domestic policy (1982-1983) and transport (1983-1992). He was re-elected a total of six times and finally did not run for the 2001 general election.
On June 9, 2004, Snape was named a Life Peer, Baron Snape , of Wednesbury in the county of West Midlands, and has been a member of the House of Lords ever since . His ceremonial introduction to the House of Lords took place on June 29, 2004.
