Life

During the first siege of Vienna in September and October 1529 by the Turks , he wrote a precise chronicle of the city's defense. On October 14th the siege was called off after the main attack had failed, and on November 12th Hieronymus Vietor , the most important Viennese printer at the time, published Stern von Labach's eyewitness report.
