Peter Vollmer (cabaret artist)

Peter Vollmer (* 1962 ) is a German cabaret artist . His roots are in the Freiburg cabaret scene, where he appeared together with Thomas Reis as DUO VITAL in 1986 . In 1990 they received the Garching Cabaret Mask Audience Award .

Peter Vollmer has been involved in various solo programs since 1992, such as "In the name of the pants", "The desert is alive", "Doctor games", "In the name of the pants XXL", "Mölle men", "Heroes please report" " New doctor games ”and“ Laughing gas - the health show ”on the way. Since 1995 he has been working as an author of satirical articles for WDR television. In his adopted home of Cologne, he plays regularly in the Eifelturm theater. Peter Vollmer is a guest - also as a moderator - at shows and gala events.

As the first child of a family of educators, Peter Vollmer spent his childhood together with three siblings in the Hessian village Erda in what is now the Lahn-Dill district (LDK).
