Thomas Reis (cabaret artist)

Thomas Reis (born October 29, 1963 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German cabaret artist and author.

Life

With Peter Vollmer , Thomas Reis founded the “Duo Vital” in Freiburg in October 1985, which performed with the jointly written program Kabel-j-au . This was followed by the duo programs SAT of Violence (1985), Akzep-Tanz auf dem Vulkan (1987), Das Deutsche Reich (t) (1988) and WeltBildersturm (1990). A cabaret evening under the title Trümmer, Träume und Rosinen with texts from 1945 to 1950 was presented in 1989 in the House of History in Bonn. In 1992 he went on stage with his first solo program When the men still had tails .

In December 1995 Reis produced the Santa Claus program in a duo with Andreas Kunze . From 1993 to 1996 Reis had his own small television column on NDR. He produced the satirical weekly review as part of the DAS magazine program .
