Petra Bödeker-Schoemann

Petra Bödeker-Schoemann (born March 24, 1956 in Wedel ) is a German politician from the Greens .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1974 at the Johann-Rist-Gymnasium in Wedel, Bödeker-Schoemann initially worked as a documentation assistant and completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk. From October 1980 she studied business administration at the University of Hamburg with a degree in business administration. In April 1986 she joined the higher service of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, where she worked in various functions until 2011, most recently as senior government director in the tax authorities. In September 2011 she was appointed managing director of the municipal holding company HGV (Hamburg Society for Asset and Investment Management). She resigned from this office in mid-2018 for reasons of age. Bödeker-Schoemann was a member of the HHLA Supervisory Board from mid-2012 to mid-2018 . She also represented the HGV on many other supervisory boards of Hamburg public companies.

Bödeker-Schoemann has been a member of the Greens (then still GAL) since 1983 and between 1982 and 1989 worked on the budget, economic and women's committee of the district assembly in Altona . From 1989 to 1993 she was a member of the district assembly, from 1991 to 1993 also parliamentary group chairman.

In the 15th electoral term from 1993 to 1997 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament and for the GAL parliamentary group in the Health Committee and the Constitutional Committee.

From 1998 to 2011 she again represented the Greens in the Altona district assembly, among other things as deputy parliamentary group leader and 2nd deputy chairperson of the district assembly. The main topics were economic policy as well as budget and security policy. After taking up the position of managing director of the municipal holding company HGV on September 1, 2011, she had to resign from her parliamentary mandate due to the incompatibility of office and mandate. Since 2019 she has been a member of the Altona District Assembly again and represents the Green Party in the Main Committee and the Social and Budget Committee.
