Petra Röder (2015)

Petra Röder (born April 24, 1969 ; † May 10, 2018 in Nuremberg ) was a German writer who mainly wrote women's literature and fantasy youth books. She also wrote erotic romance novels under the pseudonym Alison Montgomery .

Life

Before Röder started working as a writer, she worked as a freelance illustrator. She designed the book cover herself. Petra Röder lived with her husband in Nuremberg until her death. Röder named Michael Ende's The Neverending Story as a source of inspiration .

She published her debut novel The Metamorphosis in May 2011 with edition winterwork. The novel was the prelude to her three-part vampire book series The Blood Ruby Trilogy . Röders Flammenherz saga was also published by winterwork-Verlag. This saga is about historical time travel novels in which the young Janet unexpectedly ends up in the 17th century. In June 2012 the single volume Traumfänger was published; it is about Kylie, whose little sister Emma is in a coma and in a dream asks Kylie for help. In the dream world she meets the charming Matt Connor, who has been trapped there for months. Her three-part chick lit novel series with the title Megan Bakerville Series and the individual volumes Mitten ins Herz und Liebe does not knock are published as self-publications . In August 2013, her novel School of Secrets: Lost to Midnight was published by Impress-Verlag, an imprint from Carlsen Verlag . Röder's four-part Seasons of Love series was completed in July 2014.

Petra Röder succumbed to the consequences of a heart attack in May 2018 .
