Petras Antanas Šalčius

Petras Antanas Šalčius (born June 11, 1943 in Čiudiškiai , Prienai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

From 1949 to 1958 he and his parents were expelled to Siberia . In 1961 he completed the youth evening school for workers in Kaunas and in 1966 the diploma course in road engineering at the Kauno politechnikos institutas . He then worked as a worker and works manager in Kaunas, and for 14 years as a senior engineer in Vilkaviškis and in Rokiškis in road construction . From 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Seimas , from 2001 director of the UAB “ Zarasų automobilių keliai”. From 1990 he was a deputy , from 1995 to 1997 and from 2003 to 2007 a member of the council of the Rokiškis district community .

He has been a member of Tėvynės Sąjunga since 1994 .

With his wife Regina he has the children Rimantas, Arūnas, Petras.
