history

In 1358 the choir was consecrated and in 1534 a chaplain was named. From 1750 to 1758 the nave was enlarged and consecrated in 1761. The church was renovated in 1875 and made a parish church in 1891. 1907 was a church renovation. From 1972 to 1973 the interior was restored.

architecture

The essentially late Gothic church building was structurally changed in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Gothic choir has moved in and closes off polygonally. The Gothic south tower with double grooved and two-lane tracery windows from the middle of the 15th century received curved gables with an onion helmet with a lantern in 1836. The nave, which is essentially Gothic, has buttresses. The west facade, divided into three parts by pilasters, has a gable with dwarf arcades. The baroque portal is framed by pilasters and triangular gables. On the nave wall there are frescoes of the stations of the cross from the middle of the 18th century.

The four-bay nave under a vaulted concrete barrel with stitch caps and pilasters has a two-story west gallery. The one-yoke, drawn-in choir has a five-eighth ending . The stained glass in the choir was created by Tyrolean stained glass in 1875 and 1908. The ceiling paintings by the painter Emanuel Raffeiner from 1908 show the Coronation of Mary and Saints Ingenuin and Albuin in the choir and the adoration of the kings and four prophets in the nave.

Furnishing

On the high altar are the figures of Maria, Ingenuin and Albuin, to the side Peter and Paul by the sculptor Nikolaus Krabacher (1908). The side altars, on the left a Sacred Heart Altar, on the right a Sacred Heart Altar, are from 1908. There are four evangelist reliefs. There is a Christmas crib with larger than life carved figures by the sculptor Johann Schnegg around 1775.

The organ was built by Franz Reinisch II in 1899 .

Chapel of the Dead

The death chapel in the cemetery east of the parish church has the year 1670 above the pointed arch portal. The west wall shows baroque medallions with allegorical representations of the Last Judgment, death, heaven and hell. The interior of the chapel has a vaulted concrete barrel with stitch caps and a choir with a 3/8 end.

The altar from the second half of the 18th century shows the picture Mariahilf and the baroque figures Sebastian and Rochus. There is a crucifix from the 16th century and a Lenten cross with instruments of passion.

Widum

The widum west of the parish church is a two-story baroque building and was structurally connected to the church on the upper floor with a gangway bridge to the west facade.
