The parish church of Konradsheim is built steeply on the north side of the slope in the town of Konradsheim in the statutory town of Waidhofen an der Ybbs in Lower Austria . The patronage of St. The Roman Catholic parish church subordinated to Nikolaus von Myra belongs to the dean's office in Waidhofen an der Ybbs in the diocese of St. Pölten . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).

history

Presumably a Romanesque hall church existed as the castle church as early as the 12th century. In the 14th century, the Gothic church was built using material from the demolished castle. The south aisle was built around 1500.

The parish was founded in 1783 and 1891.

architecture

The unequal two-aisled Gothic hall church with a distinctive facade-side gable tower and can be reached via an imposing natural stone staircase in the west.

Furnishing

The furnishings were created by Josef Rifesser (1851–1919) in 1900.

The organ was built by Max Jakob in 1903 in a three-part neo-Gothic case eccentrically on the baroque organ gallery.
