Parish Church of the Holy Trinity, Linz-Oed

The parish church Linz-Oed is located in the district of Oed, Waldegg in the municipality of Linz in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church Heiligste Dreifaltigkeit belongs to the dean's office Linz-Süd in the diocese of Linz .

history

From the late 1950s onwards, the Oed district was built using WAG apartment blocks . In 1965, Pastor Anton Haider of the St. Theresia parish responsible for this area acquired a plot of land for a parish center. 1974 to 1975 the church was built according to plans by Rüdiger Stelzer and Walter Hutter and consecrated on December 14, 1975. In 1982 it was raised to the status of an independent parish.

The tapestry was designed by Wolfgang Stifter , the figures are by Jakob Kopp .
