The parish church of Mallnitz is located in the municipality of Mallnitz in the Spittal an der Drau district in Carinthia . The Roman Catholic parish church , consecrated on the feast of Christ the King , belongs to the dean's office in Obervellach in the diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).

history

The previous church was dedicated to St. Consecrated to Aloisius. The new church was built in 1974/1975 according to the plans of the architect Kurt Miessler.

architecture

The tent-like church building of the modern age with an inside open tent-like roof structure has a pointed, shingled bell tower.

Furnishing

The facility was created during the construction period. The church received a new organ in 1991.
