Catholic parish church of St. James the Elder in Oberneukirchen

The Roman Catholic parish church of Oberneukirchen is located in the market town of Oberneukirchen in the Urfahr-Umgebung district in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to St. James the Elder and belongs to the deanery of St. Johann am Wimberg in the Diocese of Linz . The building is a listed building .

history

Interior of the parish church

The nave of the parish church as well as the south aisle and the west tower date from the late Gothic period (late 15th century). In 1899/1901 the old building was remodeled and a neo-Gothic extension was built. The church was consecrated in 1902.
