The Sarleinsbach parish church is located in the municipality of Sarleinsbach in the upper Mühlviertel in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Peter ad Vincula belongs to the Sarleinsbach dean's office in the Linz diocese . The church is a listed building .

history

The Sarleinsbach parish was founded in 1283. In 1427 the old church was destroyed by the Hussites. Today's church, built around 1475, is a wide, three-aisled, four-bay staggered hall church with Gothic and Baroque components. The central nave from the 15th century has a late Gothic diamond net vault, the side aisles from the 16th and early 18th century have a baroque structure with groin vaults.
