history
A church was mentioned in a document in 1106. The originally smaller baroque nave was replaced by a new building in 1974/1975 and expanded on both sides. In 1994 the interior was restored.
Building
The large late Gothic choir with four-tiered buttresses is inscribed on the south wall with MCD (1400). The west tower, which is essentially Gothic, has a bell storey and a helmet from the 19th century. In the tower ground floor is a vestibule with a groin vault with a profiled late Gothic west portal.
The triumphal arch wall is new after the renovation. The three-bay choir with a three-eighth closure has a ribbed vault on recessed pillars with semicircular templates and two-lane tracery windows.
Facility
The altar panel of the late baroque high altar from the end of the 18th century shows the fall of Hell with the Archangel Michael and on the side bears the console figures Joseph and Antonius of Padua from the 19th century.
The basket with relief depictions of the evangelists in the former pulpit serves as an ambo . Further furnishings include console figures and paintings of the Stations of the Cross.
The font is late Gothic.
