The small, essentially Romanesque church has a north tower with a sacristy on the ground floor and a reticulated gothic choir with a 3/8 end. On the west side of the church, parts (head, bust) of a Roman portrait tombstone are walled in. The high altar is from the late 17th century, the side altars are a little younger.

Erected by the Schamberger, Rainer and Kraut trades in 1855, closed in 1934. Foundation walls of two smelting furnaces and a powder tower, workers' house and mule barn, two powder towers on the Petzen. Blast furnace with a square floor plan, with brick vaults supported on stone consoles, the furnace floor mainly made of limestone blocks. One of the last surviving lead smelting furnaces from the 19th century. Served for the smelting of the ores of the Petzen massif . - 1996 renovation work, wall protection, hipped roof reconstructed.

A church was mentioned in a document in 1106. The Gothic choir and the west tower, which is Gothic in its core, have been preserved. The originally smaller baroque nave was replaced by a new building in 1974/1975 and expanded on both sides. The late baroque high altar shows St. Michael. There are also two side altars from around 1650 and a neo-Gothic wall altar in the church.

The church with Gothic and classifying elements was built in 1851–57 in place of a previous building that was destroyed by lightning at the end of the 18th century. It has a four-story south tower with a hooded roof. In addition to the neo-baroque furnishings, the furnishings include a Gothic stone sculpture of St. Catherine from the 14th century.
