The medium-sized church is the former cemetery church of Bleiburg. The nave, which is essentially Romanesque, was raised in the 17th century. There are three-tier buttresses on the 14th-century Gothic choir. The slender Gothic tower on the north side of the choir has a pyramid helmet. The Gothic wall paintings (around 1400) in the groin-vaulted choir are remarkable. On the baroque high altar from the end of the 17th century is a life-size Gothic Madonna figure.

The stations of the cross are covered in " windy cover " and were painted in 1970 by Josef Stefan with the secrets of the rosary using a fresco technique. The Chapel of the Cross consists of three round niches and a double curved gable. In the central niche there is a crucifix between two angels; the oriental figures in the side niches do not seem to belong to the crucifixion group.

Note: The stations of the cross are on different properties. - The Dehio actually speaks of "lateral oriental figures" and does not consider affiliation to be certain. Why the most obvious interpretation is not certain is not explained - namely that the two figures are representations of those two saints who are directly related to the burial of Christ: Nicodemus (left) and Joseph von Arimathia (right, with Attribute Grail Chalice), both with the turban-like headgear often used for them and with a Jewish prayer capsule.
