KG: St. Kollmann
The small village church consecrated to the apostle Matthew (or Matthias ? See note) was first mentioned in a document in 1237. The early Gothic portal is from this period with remains of the original setting and old consecration crosses inside. The vault in the choir, the renaissance altar and the larger-than-life surviving fresco of St. Christopher on the outer wall come from a renovation around 1600. The altar presents Matthew (Matthias?) In the middle, flanked by Paul and Peter.

Note: The Dehio, the BDA and also the parish homepage attribute the church to Matthew. However, because of the ax used as an attribute, the altar figure rather points to Matthias, and this is also assumed in older literature.
