The Roman Catholic parish church Unterrohr is located in Unterrohr in the municipality of Rohr bei Hartberg in Styria . The parish church of St. Florian belongs to the Hartberg deanery in the Graz-Seckau diocese . The church is a listed building .

history

Built in 1732 with the master builder Remigius Horner , the church was elevated to a parish church in 1786. In 1971 there was a restoration.

architecture

The western tower in front of the previous building was retained. The three-bay nave with groin vaults and belts over pilasters has a single-bay retracted choir with a semicircle. The glass windows are from 1929.

Furnishing

The altar

The interior of the church is from the middle of the 18th century. The high altar picture was painted by the painter Josef Wonsiedler (1852). The side altarpiece Death of St. Joseph and the picture of the Assumption of Mary were painted by the painter Adam Semil (1746). The offering box shows the year 1651.

The organ was built by Carl Schehl (1843). Adam Roschtauscher (1672) cast a bell.
