The church was officially founded in 1313 by Gottschalk von Neuberg, burned down by the Hungarians in 1418, and devastated in 1605. According to the date on the tower, today's church is a new building from 1779. The three- bay hall has a flat ceiling and a retracted square choir , a square tower is presented on the west side. The strong buttresses on the nave and choir were built as wall supports because of the loose alluvial soil. The music gallery is triaxial, with simple stucco ornaments over the windows. The pulpit dates from the construction period, the three altars from the end of the 19th century.
