Kirchberg am Walde Castle was initially built as a castle around 1130. It was the seat of power and the starting point for the settlement of the municipality. After it was destroyed by the Turks, the castle was rebuilt in 1532 by Count Trautmansdorff, who were the owners from 1443 to 1669.

The church was mentioned in a document in 1158. The core of the basement of the tower, the end of the choir and the foundation walls of the nave have been preserved from the medieval building. The current church was built in the 1st quarter of the 18th century through a renovation.

The gilded statue of the Virgin Mary from 1920 stands next to the parish church. It was rebuilt in 1964 on the occasion of the market survey of the place. The design for the statue comes from Ludwig von Kurz zum Thurn und Goldenstein .

The Kirchberger-Kreuz, named after the location on the road to Kirchberg, is an open chapel with a circular pent roof on 8 pillars from the 18th century. The crucifix and altar table are of later origin. The chapel was renovated in 1969.

The former cemetery chapel is a simple square room with groined vaults and a retracted altar apse. Frescoes by Johann Cyriak Hackhofer from 1724 show the last four things . The chapel was restored in 1940 and 1978.

Since 1981 the chapel has been used again as a funeral chapel, and when it was restored in 2002, the originally open chapel was closed with a glass front.

The wayside shrine was erected in memory of Wolfgang Graf von Wurmbrand-Stuppach , the owner of Reitau Castle, who was sentenced to death on August 7, 1704 by a peasant court who suspected him of collaborating with the Kuruzen and was executed on this spot.

The church, first mentioned in 1544, is located on the eastern slope of the Masenberg at an altitude of 925 meters. It was renewed in 1800 after a lightning strike. The church consists of a simple hall with a flat ceiling that rises to the west. A tower with a tent roof is built on the east side. The small high altar was made by Wolf Schmidt in 1743 and represents the torture of St. Pankraz . In a wall niche is a copy of Mariazeller Maria on a column from 1681. Art Nouveau from 1900.

The 1,800-year-old grave lion was discovered on September 12, 1954 during road construction work about 100 m west of the farm known as Seidl. The find was brought to Grafendorf and placed in front of the elementary school. With the establishment of the community center in Stambach, the already heavily weathered lion was able to move back to his hometown, where he is protected from further weathering under a roof.
