Frauenfeld Racecourse
The Frauenfeld racecourse is one of the most famous racetracks in Switzerland . It is located north of the city of Frauenfeld on the so-called Frauenfelder Allmend.

The grass track is a 1,500 meter long right track; Flat and trotting races are held on it. In addition, Frauenfeld also has an approximately 1,400 meter long hunting track. The interior is provided with obstacles for criss-country races, cross-country races with a distance of 4,500 meters are held. In 2015, Frauenfeld hosted a Crystal Cup series race for the first time. For almost ten years now, the three arena clubs (racing club, riding club, riding arena club) have been offering the infrastructure for rent to third-party users under the special-purpose community horse center, for example the Frauenfeld Openair is known for this . The site of the track belongs to the Swiss Confederation , but is leased for use by the Rennverein Frauenfeld. The racing club is part of the PMU association, so some of the races in Frauenfeld can also be bet on from abroad, for example France. Race days
There are currently three racing days on the track every year: the spring meeting, the Whitsun races on Whit Monday and the derby racing day on the third Sunday in June. The Whitsun races are best known in the region and regularly attracts large numbers of visitors, but only the Derby race day with the Swiss Derby as the highlight is internationally renowned.
