The area Lipbachsenke is a by ordinance of 25 August 1993 of the Regional Council Tübingen been instructed natural (NSG number 4227) and conservation area (LSG number 4.35.037) in the area of the city Friedrichshafen and the town of Immenstaad in Bodenseekreis , Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany .

location

The 29 hectare large nature reserve and subsequent 25-hectare conservation area Lipbachsenke , northeast Immenstaad, north of the national road 31 , and south-west of Kluftern and west of Fischbach located, is one of the natural area for Lake Basin and is located at an altitude of 430  m above sea level. NN .

Protection purpose

The main protective purpose of the NSG Lipbachsenke is the preservation of the largely natural stream floodplain of the mostly freely meandering Lipbach with the adjoining swamp forest , forest and wooded edge as well as clay pit waters (" Heger Weiher ") as a habitat for a large number of endangered and specially protected plant and animal species . The main protection purpose of the landscape protection area is to secure the ecologically necessary supplementary area for the nature reserve.

Flora and fauna

Among the flora worthy of protection are the following types of plants :

• the wild garlic ( Allium ursinum ) is a species from the leek family
• the spring flat pea ( Lathyrus vernus ), a typical plant of the Central European hardwood forests from the legume family
• the spotted arum ( Arum maculatum ), also called Zehrwurz , is a species of plant from the arum family
• the greenish forest hyacinth ( Platanthera chlorantha )
• the whorled thousand-leaf ( Myriophyllum verticillatum ), a species of the thousand-leaf family
• the pseudocyperus sedge ( Carex pseudocyperus ), a species of the sour grass family

fauna

From the worth protecting fauna following species are:

• Amphibians
  • the common toad ( Bufo bufo ), a widespread species of the toad family
  • the common frog ( Rana temporaria ), a species of the real frog family
  • the European tree frog ( Hyla arborea ), a Froschlurch that to the family of tree frogs iwS counts
• Insects , including twelve species of dragonflies, mapped
  • the brown damsel ( Aeshna grandis ), a type of dragonfly from the family of the noble dragonflies
  • the spotted emerald dragonfly ( Somatochlora flavomaculata ), a species of the falcon dragonfly family
  • the autumn mosaic maiden ( Aeshna mixta ), also a type of dragonfly from the family of noble dragonflies
• Birds , 64 breeding bird species mapped
  • the reed warbler ( Acrocephalus arundinaceus ), a songbird in the warbler family
  • the kingfisher ( Alcedo atthis ), the only species from the kingfisher family found in Central Europe
  • the Oriole ( Oriolus oriolus ), a Singvogelart from the family of Oriole
