The area Lipbachsenke is a by ordinance of 25 August 1993 of the Regional Council Tübingen been instructed natural (NSG number 4227) and conservation area (LSG number 4.35.037) in the area of the city Friedrichshafen and the town of Immenstaad in Bodenseekreis , Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany .

The 29 hectare large nature reserve and subsequent 25-hectare conservation area Lipbachsenke , northeast Immenstaad, north of the national road 31 , and south-west of Kluftern and west of Fischbach located, is one of the natural area for Lake Basin and is located at an altitude of 430 m above sea level. NN .
Protection purpose
The main protective purpose of the NSG Lipbachsenke is the preservation of the largely natural stream floodplain of the mostly freely meandering Lipbach with the adjoining swamp forest , forest and wooded edge as well as clay pit waters (" Heger Weiher ") as a habitat for a large number of endangered and specially protected plant and animal species . The main protection purpose of the landscape protection area is to secure the ecologically necessary supplementary area for the nature reserve.
