The Eisrandformen area between Rebholz and Knellesberg is a landscape protection area (LSG number 4.35.038) in the northeast of the Baden-Württemberg municipality of Meckenbeuren in the Lake Constance district in Germany, which was designated by the Landratsamt Bodenseekreis on July 19, 1996 .

location

The approximately 279 hectares large conservation area Eisrandformen between Rebholz and Knellesberg is one natural area to Lake basin . It is located northeast of the center of Meckenbeuren, on the border with the Ravensburg district , between the Schussen in the west, west, between and east of the federal highways 30 and 467 and east of the Liebenau district at an altitude of around 440 to 540  m above sea level. NN . The landscape protection area includes the Wanne wasteland of Mühlenbach , wasteland of Tennenmoos , Knellesberger Wiesen , Krumme Äcker , Stockwiesen , Tennenmooser Esch and Weiherwiesen .

Protection purpose

Essential protective purpose is to maintain in the Würm from Rhein glacier formed in a retreat and standstill phase Eisrandformen with the moraines , end moraine and the outlet in the weft depression in its multiform natural geomorphology .
