The Altweiherwiese and Taldorfer Bach area is a landscape protection area (LSG number 4.35.003) in the east of the Baden-Württemberg community of Oberteuringen in the Lake Constance district in Germany, which was designated as a higher nature conservation authority by ordinance of March 31, 1952 by the Württemberg Ministry of Culture .

location

The approximately 76 hectares large conservation area Altweiherwiese and Taldorfer Bach is one natural area to the Upper Swabian hills . It is located east of Oberteuringer town center, south of Hefigkofen and north of Blankenried , at an altitude of 449 to 498  m above sea level. NN .

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is the preservation of the geologically significant meltwater channel of the Würm late glacial as a valley section of the Ur-Argen .

The landscape protection area encompasses the edge areas and serves to avoid negative influences on the nature reserve " Altweiherwiese " through disturbing changes or changes in the environment that affect the natural balance.
