The Drumlin Biblis area is a landscape protection area (LSG number 4.35.028) in the area of ​​the Baden-Württemberg city ​​of Überlingen in the Lake Constance district in Germany, which was designated by ordinance of July 18, 1938 in the Überlingen district .

location

The 15 hectares large conservation area Drumlin Biblis is one natural area to Linzgau . It extends south of the Überlingen district of Nesselwangen as far as the district road 7786 and east of the B31 at an altitude of around 580 to 614  m above sea level. NN

geology

In the Würm Ice Age , about 20,000 years ago, coined the Rhine - foreland glaciers the area north of Lake Constance . Today the drumlins represent the typical terrain of the terminal moraine landscape.
