Steep edge and gravel field of the Argental south of the digester mill

The steep edge and gravel field of the Argental south of the Kochermühle is a landscape protection area (LSG number 4.35.005) in the west of the Baden-Württemberg municipality of Kressbronn in the Lake Constance district in Germany, which was designated by the Tübingen regional council as a higher nature conservation authority by ordinance of September 10, 1954 .

location

The approximately 13 hectares large protected landscape steep edge and gravel field of Argentals south of the boiler mill is one natural area to Lake basin . It is located about one and a half kilometers west of the center of Kressbronn, south of the Kochermühle district and west of state road 334 at an altitude of about 410  m above sea level. NHN . The conservation area includes Won Heidach .

To the north, west and south the area is enclosed by the landscape protection area Ice Age Rims of the Argental with Argenaue .

Protection purpose

The main purpose of protection is the preservation of a late glacial terrace .
