The area Lipbachmündung is with Regulation of 17 December 1982 of the Regional Council Tübingen been instructed Nature Reserve (NSG number 4102) in the area of the city Friedrichshafen and the town of Immenstaad in Baden-Württemberg Bodenseekreis in Germany .

location

The approximately 16 hectare (ha) large nature reserve Lipbach estuary , in the east of Immenstaad, south of the federal highway 31 and west of Fischbach , belongs to the natural area of the Lake Constance basin and lies at an altitude of 396 m above sea level. NN .

Protection purpose

The main protective purpose of the Lipbach estuary NSG is to preserve the woody population as well as the shore zone of Lake Constance and the upstream shallow water zone on the lowest section of the Lipbach . The area serves as a habitat for numerous rare resting, wintering and breeding bird species, some of which are threatened with extinction, as well as a spawning area for many fish species.
