Paul Dyck (born April 15, 1971 in Steinbach , Manitoba ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who has spent ten seasons in the International Hockey League and four in the German Ice Hockey League .

Career

Paul Dyck began his career in 1989 with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Western Hockey League . After two seasons elected him Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft in the eleventh round of the 236th location.

The Canadian made his professional debut in the 1991/92 season with the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the International Hockey League . There he and his team lost 4-0 to the Kansas City Blades in the final series of the Turner Cup . Then Dyck moved to the Cleveland Lumberjacks , where he stayed until 1995. The next season he started with the Kansas City Blades and went to the Detroit Vipers shortly before the play-offs . After returning to the Blades, Dyck completed 49 games and moved to the Houston Eros . The defender stayed there for five seasons and reached the play-offs every year. In 1999 Dyck won the Turner Cup with the Eros.

For the 2001/02 season , the Canadian signed with the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League . In the Sauerland he was convincing on the defensive, so the Krefeld Pinguine signed him. After finishing sixth in the regular season, Dyck won the German championship with the penguins . He stayed in Krefeld for two more years and joined the SERC Wild Wings from the 2nd Bundesliga in 2005 . Then he ended his career.
