The area Auweiher is with Regulation of 21 December 1973 of the Regional Council Tübingen been instructed Nature Reserve (NSG number 4071) in the north of Württemberg Baden- community Neukirch ( Bodenseekreis ) and in the southeast of the municipality Bodnegg ( Ravensburg district ) in Germany .
location
The approximately seven hectares large nature reserve Auweiher is one natural area to Westallgäuer hills . It is located about 2.7 kilometers southeast of Bodnegg and 3.3 kilometers north of Neukirch, between the districts of Oberwagenbach , Raihen and Zannau , at an altitude of 530 m above sea level. NN . The Schwarzach flows through the NSG towards the west to the Schussen .
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of a species-rich litter meadow on the former pond floor with floristic rarities.
