The Mariataler Wäldle is a nature reserve in the area of ​​the city of Ravensburg in the district of Ravensburg, designated by the regional council of Südwürttemberg-Hohenzollern on August 11, 1966 .

location

The Mariataler Wäldle is located in the Ravensburg residential district of Weißenau on the Eschach district to the left of the Schussen . The area belongs to the natural area of Lake Constance .

Landscape character

In the area there is a mixed deciduous forest with mighty linden trees and a pond and smaller wetlands overgrown with reeds or tall herbaceous vegetation. The nature reserve is surrounded by built-up areas.

Flora and fauna

Notable species in the area are the common pond mussel , the tuberous thistle and the mosquito bark .
