The Füremoos area is a nature reserve (NSG number 4.006) that was designated on August 23, 1937 in the north of the Vogt municipality in Baden-Württemberg in the Ravensburg district in Germany .

Location and description

The 4.8  hectare large nature reserve Füremoos is one natural area to Upper Swabian hills . It is located in the middle of the Altdorf Forest , around two kilometers north of the center of Vogter at an altitude of around 705  m above sea level. NN .

In a presumably earlier Toteisloch were in silting of the former lake flat and Hochmoortorfe deposited. The Füremoos was able to develop undisturbed due to the protected status of a protected forest since 1924 .

Flora and fauna

From the flora worthy of protection , the following plant species (selection) are to be named:

  • Mountain pine ( Pinus mugo )
  • Bilberry ( Vaccinium myrtillus ), regional and blue , black , wild , forest , Bick- , Zeck- , moss or (especially Switzerland. And süddeut.) Heubeere designated

fauna

The area is a habitat for various amphibian and dragonfly species .
