The area Blind Lake is a designated with Ordinance of 18 April 1969 Nature Reserve (NSG number 4043) in the region of Württemberg, Baden- community Fronreute in the district of Ravensburg in Germany . Due to the similarity of the name, the Blinder See nature reserve can be confused with the Blinder See Kanzach nature reserve in the Biberach district .

location

The approximately 7.8  hectare large nature reserve Blind Lake is one of the natural area of Upper Swabian hills . It is located around five kilometers northwest of the center of Fronreut, at an altitude of 582 to 585  m above sea level. NN .

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is the preservation of the intermediate bog with a residual lake and vibrating lawn .
