The Hangquellmoor Bachholz area is a nature reserve (NSG number 4.058) designated by ordinance of December 21, 1973 of the Tübingen regional council in the area of the city of Wangen im Allgäu in the Ravensburg district of Baden-Württemberg in Germany .
location
The only 0.325 hectare nature reserve Hangquellmoor Bachholz in the valley of the Lower Argen belongs to the Westallgäu hill country . It is located about 6.8 kilometers southwest of downtown Wangen, north of Landstrasse 333 between the hamlet of Pflegelberg and the Primisweiler district, at an altitude of 505 to 510 m above sea level. NN . This area is referred to as Schomburg on the land maps .
The Teufelssee nature reserve is 500 meters south of the Bachholz hill spring moor .
Protection purpose
The protection purpose is the preservation of the rush bog in north-west exposure on the slope of the lower Argental.
Flora and fauna

The springy subsoil of the hillside spring moor shows tuff formations everywhere and provides settlement opportunities for plants, some of which are completely absent in the wider area: the location undoubtedly reveals pre-Alpine character according to the composition of the species.
