Benson Lokorwa

Benson Lokorwa (born May 5, 1971 ) is a former Kenyan long-distance runner who had his greatest successes in road runs .

In 1997 he won the Würzburger Residenzlauf over 10 km as well as the Altötting half marathon and came second in the 25 km of Berlin . The following year he came second in the Cologne Marathon . In 1999 he won the Berlin Half Marathon and the Cologne Marathon. In 2000 he finished second in the Berlin Half Marathon and the 25 km from Berlin, fourth in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and defended his title in Cologne.

Lokorwa, who works as a prison guard in Nairobi , was looked after by the German manager Volker Wagner .
