  • a naturally formed lake, whose aquatic flora - especially the floating leaf communities - is a habitat for numerous insect species , especially dragonflies , and forms the food source for numerous invertebrates,
  • a wide silting belt in the shores of the lake with representatives of the cattail, rush, rush and reed, which many bird species serve as breeding areas,
  • nutrient-poor flat and Hang Quellmoor areas with their particularly vulnerable flora from Kalkkleinseggenrieden as a habitat for many specially adapted insects - especially numerous day and moth species - which in turn are food and food source for many species of birds,
  • Pipe grass litter meadows, whose floristic biodiversity is habitat for numerous insect species, in particular for butterfly species and rams that are only native there ,
  • Meadow areas with spring areas and moats, which, due to their interlocking with the adjacent forest areas, form a valuable biotope area,
  • Orchards as an element of the traditional cultural landscape and as a richly structured habitat for numerous endangered animal species, and
  • Grassland areas serve as buffer zones to avoid further intensification of agricultural areas in the area surrounding the wetland.
