Pentecost March

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term Whitsun March is mainly used to describe protest events organized by the anti-nuclear movement in analogy to the Easter marches organized by the peace movement . One of the first Whitsun marches in this context was the migration of 10,000 people to the construction site of the then planned Gösgen (CH) nuclear power plant in 1977.
