Pfitschigogerl

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pfitschigogerl , also Fitschigogerl , is an Austrian parlor game in a simple form of table football . The name in the Austrian dialect is composed of pfitschen (quickly gliding) and gagel (a round object).

Rules of the game

The rules of the game vary widely, but there are the following basic rules:

  1. Two players compete against each other.
  2. Each player has a 2 euro coin, a smaller 50 cent coin is the "ball".
  3. With a ruler or a similarly sized piece of plastic, the player pushes one of the two euro coins so that it hits the 50 cent coin and, ideally, pushes it into the goal. The goal consists of any two other coins that are placed next to each other at a distance of 5.5 cm on both sides of the playing field.

societies

In Austria there are a few Pfitschigogerl clubs that hold championships and also compete against each other.
