The crop protection expertise Regulation (PflSchSachkV) regulates in Germany to demonstrate the necessary skills and knowledge for the application of pesticides and for their delivery in retail .

Section 1 defines various application situations for plant protection products that require a certificate of competence; this also includes the supervision of persons in the context of a training relationship .

This is followed by provisions on the "recognition of qualifications from other Member States in the case of permanent activity" (Section 1a), on the "recognition of qualifications from other Member States in the case of temporary or occasional activity" (Section 1b) and on the "recognition of qualifications from others States "(§ 1d).

An examination consisting of a theoretical and a practical part determines whether the examinee has the necessary knowledge and skills in good professional practice in plant protection (§ 2).

Further regulations relate, among other things, to the technical knowledge required for a certificate of competence in the "dispensing of plant protection products in retail" and in "carrying out a reportable activity according to § 9 PflSchG " (§ 3) as well as the authority of the states to "more detailed regulations on the examination procedure to be issued according to § 2 "(§ 5).
