Phuntshog

Phüntshog (also: Phuntshog, Phuntsog, Phüntsok / g, Püntsok / g, Puntsok / g ; ཕུན་ ཚོགས THL Püntsok , Wylie phun tshogs , ZWPY Püncog , German “Fülle an Excellence” - “excellent”) is a frequently used component of the Tibetan language Names.

Phüntshog is part of the name of the following people:

  • Phüntshog Namgyel (Sikkim) (1642–1670), King of Sikkim
  • Champa Phüntshog (* 1947), Chairman of the Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, see Qamba Püncog
