Pharmaceutical assistant EFZ is a teaching profession in Switzerland. The training lasts three years. The occupation is assigned to the occupational field "Sales". The pharmaceutical assistant corresponds to the German pharmaceutical-commercial employee .

History of training

conditions

The following requirements are placed on prospective pharmaceutical assistants:

  • Completed elementary school, top level (middle school level with very good performance)
  • Enjoyment of advice and contact with people
  • Interest in scientific contexts and health issues
  • Sense of responsibility, awareness of hygiene
  • Secrecy, discretion
  • Teamwork

The recommended starting age is 16 years.

structure

The three learning locations are company, inter-company courses and vocational school . The inter-company courses comprise a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 15 days of 8 hours.

The emergency helper course must be completed and paid for privately up to the qualification procedure (= final examination).

Vocational school

In the first year of the apprenticeship, the apprentices attend the vocational school 2 days a week, from the second year onwards on one day per week.
