Phe (letter)

Phe ( Sindhi :ڦي phē ;ڦ) is the 36th letter of the Sindhi extended Arabic alphabet . Phe consists of a Fa (ف) with three additional points above.

In the Arabic script of Sindhi, Phe stands for the aspirated voiceless bilabial plosive [ ]. The equivalent of Phe in the Sindhi Devanagari is the symbol फ, in Latin transcriptions Phe is usually represented with ph .

The character is coded in the Arabic Unicode block as Peheh at the code point U + 06A6 and in the Arabic presentation-A Unicode block at the code points U + FB6E to U + FB71. In a historical variant, the Phe had only three diacritical points (with two adjacent dots above the Fa).
