Pheidon (Thesproter)
Pheidon ( ancient Greek Φείδων ) is mentioned by Homer as the legendary king of the Thesproter (in Epirus ) . In the then capital Ephyra , King Pheidon is said to have hosted the hero Odysseus when Odysseus wanted to visit the oracle of Dodona . The great riches of King Pheidon are also described here.
