Phil Cortes

Phil Cortes (born April 21, 1982 in Campbellton ) is a former Canadian cyclist and later sports director .

Phil Cortes began his career in 2004 with the Canadian cycling team Italpasta-Transport Belmire . In the 2006 season he won the Bear Mountain Spring Classic NY and a stage at Tobago International, where he also took third place in the overall standings. In 2007 Cortes drove for the Continental Team Calyon-Litespeed and since 2008 he has been driving for the Polish-Italian team Amore & Vita-McDonald's . In the 2008 season he was successful on a section of the Vuelta a Costa Rica .

For the 2013 season he became Sports Director at Amore & Vita .
