Phil Hubbe
Phil Hubbe (* 1966 in Haldensleben ) is a German cartoonist .
Life
The Magdeburg worked after an aborted study mathematics as shift workers in a ceramic factory and as a business merchant. In 1985 he fell ill with multiple sclerosis ; however, the correct diagnosis was not made until three years later.
He has made drawing his main occupation since 1992 and often deals with the subject of disabilities in a humorous way . He receives mostly positive feedback, especially from the area of people with disabilities. With his drawings, Hubbe was involved in various exhibitions from 2001, and in 2002 he came third in the German Prize for Political Caricature .
He works for over 20 daily newspapers, magazines, etc., he also designed postcards, the "handicap calendar" and has already published his own cartoon volumes.
Phil Hubbe is married and has one daughter.
