Phil the Agony

Phil the Agony (real Jason Smith ) is an American rapper . He is part of Strong Arm Steady and a member of the Likwit Crew . Other spellings of his stage name are Phil da Agony and Phil tha Agony .

Career

Phil the Agony began his career as a member of the Likwit Crew around King Tee . As such, he recorded his first officially published verse in 1995, which appeared on a sampler on the Immortal Records label. As a result, he appeared repeatedly on various projects as a guest artist, including on Tash's debut album Rap Life , where he appeared together with Xzibit on the song True Homies . The contact with Xzibit eventually led him to make Phil the Agony part of his group Strong Arm Steady .

In addition to releasing with Strong Arm Steady, he recorded his first album, The Aromatic Album , in 2004 .

In 2009, Think Green followed , a concept album , particularly on the subject of environmental protection . For example, only 100% recycled paper was used for the CD cover and printed with ink based on soy and other vegetables. In addition, it was agreed with the publishing label Greenstreets Entertainment and the environmental protection organization American Forests that a tree would be planted for every copy of the CD sold, both digitally and physically.
